Welcome Puma PTO Community

As a non-profit, run by parents who volunteer their time, Milwaukie El Puente Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of students by strengthening relationships amoung families, teachers, staff, and the broader community.

 

You are a member of our community and organization as a parent or guardian with a child attending Milwaukie El Puente Elementary.

We envision a welcoming and connected school community where every family feels included, every voice is valued and everyone has the support they need to thrive.

Volunteer With Us

There are many ways to get involved! Whether it’s lending a helping hand in the classroom, joining us at a PTO Meeting, helping us orchestrate an event, or supporting from home with your virtual talents. Any amount of time shows your child that their education and our community matters.

Step 1

First time volunteering for us or not in the HelpCounter system yet? Please complete the NCSD application and background check by clicking below.

 

Processing can take a few weeks, so please plan ahead.

Step 2

To help equip your skillset for being on campus and working with our kids, watch the NCSD Volunteer Training Video by clicking below.

Step 3

Once your application has been approved by NCSD, you can look for upcoming volunteer opportunities using HelpCounter.

​

HelpCounter is the school's volunteer software used to manage events, post volunteer opportunities and record volunteer hours.​

Events & Programs

Please Note: Due to a variety of factors we were unable to organize many programs this year. We are determined to change this next year! Please reach out with interest in coordinating a program such as after school, bike bus, etc.   ​
